After returning a purchase for a credit on my Citibank Mastercard, I have been checking my account online for the credit appear for two weeks now. Today I sent a Secure Email to Customer Service to inquire as to the whereabouts of my credit to which I just received this response:

“The credit has not yet posted to your account, but please keep in mind, this process may take up to two billing cycles. After that time, if the credit still has not posted, please contact us.”

Two Billing Cycles?!? It didn’t take “two billing cycles” to post the charge to my account. Between the recent rate hike to 16.99%, BILLIONS of dollars of taxpayer money WASTED, and now this pitiful excuse for customer service I will be closing my account in “up to two billings cycles” and taking my business somewhere less reprehensible.
